Dave Yee was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He completed his undergraduate degree in the Animation/Illustration Program at San Jose State University and later received his MFA in Illustration at the University of Hartford. Dave has been a Digital Artist and Art Director in the Film, Video Game, and Tech industries. He's worked for studios like Industrial Light and Magic and Apple Inc.  Some of the projects he's contributed to include Star Wars, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, as well as multiple Apple Product Launch Campaigns.

In 2017, Dave joined the faculty at San Jose State University as an Assistant Professor in the Animation/Illustration Program where he teaches a variety of subjects including Storyboarding, Visual Development, and Illustration.
